Hi Joe,
Tough call on this one, but I'll take a stab at it. It looks like a period piece, but there are a few concerns IMO. First, the wreath is lacking detail, especially between the 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock postions when viewed from the front. The swastika looks too fat, and the span of the hinge is a little too wide for this maker IMO. Hopefully I am wrong, and it is period, possibly another die? Can you get a close-up of the MM?

I agree with brian, the wreath lacks alot of detail especially on the right side, and the swastica is too big. there are also a few other features I don't like, such as the hinge.

I wouldn't buy it. To me the wreath doesn't look like a B&NL wreath and I am not fan of the hinge.

Hi Joe,

Tombak Air Gunners by B&NL are tough to find. Your badge doesn't feel quite right. Hinge, rivets, etc. Here is one to compare.

This badge is currently on a dealer's site. I posted it because I was not convinced it was 100% bad but shared many of the concerns stated. I am 100% sure it is fake now.
