    Bomber Clasps

    Were bomber clasps ever two pieces? i.e. the bomb being riveted to the clasp? Also the same with recon clasps with the eagle's eye being riveted to the clasp?

    ps Marked C. E. Junker. Did they make that clasp?

    Hi Mike,

    I think most of the luftwaffe clasps were riveted constructions and yes Juncker made Luftwaffe clasps. In fact a very nice one just sold on the e-stand.

      Hi Mike,

      Is it "C.E. Junker" or "C.E. Juncker" - I believe that some fake clasps are around with the "c" in "Juncker" missing.
      Be careful as often the seller doesn't realise it has a "c" in it and will describe it as a "Junker" made badge.
      You will find that 99% of Frontflugspange have the main "type" symbol riveted to the badge proper.
