I think it's original , grade 2 ( because twisted blue with a little white and one "gland" )

I have just a rectification the acorn is normally in white thread , not in silver bullion....

I think the lanyard shown is good. You should not see white thread - it should only be silver/aluminum thread (including the acorn device). Sometimes silver/aluminum looks white in the photos .

The acorn looks weird. I think it may be a new addition to the Schutzenschnur. Here's a picture of a new one you can buy for modern BundesWehr uniforms.

better pics are needed. the cord looks good the shield a closer pic please.
on the acorn a close pic of the top and bottom please. then i can advise
