    Pilot Badge, Opinions Please

    HI,

Could you please tell me this is an original piece? Thanks in advance

Any pics of the front or close ups of the catch? It appears to be a zink badge by the unknown maker, but no plate under the catch? 525 Euro seems a little steep for one of these, even if original.
    Regards,
    Brian

Perhaps there is no catch plate because this is a tombak version produced by FLL?

Sorry for the delay, I didn't realizre the post actually went through, I've been having trouble starting new threads. He is the front pic. The case is supposed to be original as well, if you save the photos to your computer, you can enlarge them about twice the size, Thanks again.

Better pictures are definitely needed here. It "appears" from this pic that there is no catch plate, I think it probably is there, but a close up pic is needed to be sure. This badge has all the characteristics of a zink piece IMO: saw-cut wingtip, fat-arm swastika, the look of the finish....I'm still trying to figure out why the eagle looks gold in color, though.
