    Juncker 2nd/3rd Pattern ROAG

    Hi Guys,
Here's a recent pickup of mine, one that you don't come across to often - a Juncker hybrid Radio Operator/Air Gunner. That's a buntmetall 3rd pattern eagle on the typical 2nd pattern wreath. I haven't seen one of these posted here, so I thought I'd introduce this one.

Nice! The 3rd pattern eagle has a mean look to it.

If I got the eagle styles correct, this pic shows 1, 2, 3. A 2 has a more rounded head while the 3 has a more flattened aggressive appearance. Is that correct?

Correct, you have them all in order. Also, the gap between the first and rear talons is much smaller on a 2nd pattern eagle. I would say that the head and talons are the first areas to look at when trying to determine whether the eagle is a 2nd or 3rd pattern.
