Flak costs
From my recent checking the range on dealer sites is roughly as follows...
$575 for early maker marked Tombak to $250 for late war unmarked zinc...condition VF or better for both.
The sales section here is a better bet by 10 - 15% sometimes if you are not in a rush. You will also save taxes.
Should wait for others to answer as I'm pretty new to this hobby and may not yet have a good grasp of pricing.
Regards,
Stu

I have a zinc in ok condition. I would not expect more than $200 for it. In great condition I would expect a zinc to go for $250. For a Tombak I think $500 is nuts. I would say $350-$450 heavilly dependent on several factors like maker and material. For example, I would pay a steep premium for a 1st pattern Juncker (rare as can be).
Get a ball-hinge - you can't go wrong.

have you seen the one on the e-stand that is posted? It is on the 2nd page. It is an unmarked, zink, ball hinge that has been repaired. Looks like it was denanazified and then put back together. asking $150. . What is your opinion? get this one or wait for a better one at twice the money? thanks for the help frank v.
