Thoughts on this Juncker's P/B

Hi,
Looks like a genuine first pattern Juncker to me - pity about the absence of pin/catch. I'm not sure about Tim's comments though - from what I've seen, the majority of these first patterns do NOT have the cutout between the legs, so no cause for concern on this point from me.

I too believe you have a nice 1st pattern badge there also. It is a shame the pin and catch are missing! The absence of a hole between the talons does not concern me either. I have seen my share
of "no hole" eagles myself and this definately looks like one of them IMO. Not as desireable without the missing parts, but still a nice example of a rare badge nonetheless!

Hi james,
looks like a good original badge to me. Don´t worry about the lack of cutout between the legs, that is normal on very early badges.
A good tip would be take it to your local trusted juweler and ask him if he can make you a pin and attach a hook, most good juwelers can do this and it does´nt cost more than 50$, it also saves you the risky job of doing it yourself.
