      Hi Robert,

IMO a recent repro. Have a read of this thread and I am sure you will then know what a Osang Para should look like.

          Robert,

10 years is recent!!. And still not a textbook Osang. Did you look at the other thread?.
Osang seems to be the most heavily faked Para.

I agree with Skip. From my "non-expert" point of view I see many wrong details in yours (commented on the thread suggested above).
By comparing with the textbook Osang badges that I´ve seen and knowing something - basic- about them, one notices quickly suspicious details: circular catch (hook), wrong wreath pin and hinge (non Osang), wrong head and signature...

              Hi Robert,

you might like to go over to Detlevs updare, he´s got a Osang Para to sell, as you will see it is the same as the ones shown by me and others in the above thread.
Osang has a very distinctive hinge that you will encounter on all his zinc badges, especially Para and Ground Assault but also on Operational Flying Clasps. Another notable point is that his catches are (nearly) always from a flat material and not round wire stock.

Sorry if yours would appear to be a repro but we have all been there and done that.

              regards Skip

This is a reproduction. I will find a thread that features the real thing for you.
