Luftwaffe Aerial Gunner / Flight Enginner badge by Juncker

I've just received this incredible cased badge. Is this the earliest "thin" Juncker style badge? It sure has the attributes of one. It came cased and was made to be a gunner badge. This means that the lightning bolts were not removed from the claws by a jeweler. This badge was made like this by Juncker. I've included close-up pics of the claws from several angles to illustrate this.

Nice badge Yuri, but not the early thin style.

OK. This is NOT the early thin style badge because this badge was instituted in 1942 (makes sense). I suspected this, but wanted to field that question for confirmation. Thanks Tim and Gene.
