Hard to tell from the poor photos, but my first impression is this looks like a good later war Assman.

Personally, I'd save up my nickels to go after the earlier pieces unless you already have the "early birds". In that case, the price seems a bit stiff considering some of the missing finish. I would've guessed $350-$375, tops.
