Day Fighter Clasp - Silver & Gold

I have finally finished the Day Fighter series in buntmetal. These two close the loop. Some observations on these two pieces that may not be obvious on the images. The obverse is exactly the same size, the holes are exactly the same size, the wreath and swastica are finished the same. The only difference is the veining in one leaf. The reverse are different. The silver rivit has a nipple on the top, the catch is a little thicker wire, but the hinge and pins seem to be identical. The flying arrow also appear to be identical. The circular wrings in the reverse of the wreath do not match.

Anyway - do these get the thumbs up or the tumbs down?

    Thanks, Richard

I forgot to mention that if you look at the files marks, they are oriented in the same doirection as well.

Wreath - notice that the leaves are somewhat flattened and the cross seems to have been finished prior to gilding

                            Day Fighter Clasp in Gold

                            Richard,

I really enjoyed reading this thread because you have an identical clasp to my own. I bought it when the Dodkins Collection was auctioned in 1987 and paid £100.

What I noticed in your photos was a sinilar blob of solder-type material. You will see the same feature on mine when you look at the 3 O'Clock position on the reverse. Are they really made by Juncker?
