Hi John,
I believe it was Andy Hopkins that first made us aware of those fake "dipped" wreaths that your pictured badge has with his Pilots Badge article here on this site. These can be quite convincing to those not familiar with this style of fake wreath.

Yes, John's badge's eagle does look pretty close to the Juncker 1st pattern at first glance but, what really stands out to me is the wreath ( resembles an Assmann ) and the dip above the bands on the lower section of the wreath.
