Hi John & Skip,
I'm not so sure about this badge as I owned one nearly identical that was considered a fake for wreath shape, tail feather cut out and other particulars (see the thread http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...5&pagenumber=2 )
I hope someone else will give his opinion as well.

Hi John,
The badge you are showing is without any doubt a fake one.
Several things are wrong and it's a cast badge.
These badges showed up 1-2 years ago on Ebay,Epier etc.
The wreath is wrong,eagle's tailfeathers cut-out is wrong,eagle lacks the fine detail and is mounted too high on the wreath,hinge I don't like,pin I don't like,rivets I don't like...

And I don't like the badge too..!
If real I'd love it.
