    Seller e-mailed me better pictures, but I cant upload them for some reason, so please look at the pictures in the auctions. My opinion is that this Flak and Air Gunner are fakes. I told the gentleman who is selling this that I will post them here on our forum for more opinions, and he was interested in hearing what you guys have to say.
    I e-mailed these to Detlev for opinion as well.

    Both are poor quality cast repros imo. Not worth my 2 bob opinion, let alone the current bid price!!

            Good to know I was right...
            Now suppose these were real, would it be possible for one man to be awarded both Flak and Air Gunner badge? I mean one was awarded to gound crews and the other to flight crews...

              I guess that guys story is fake to

              "I recently acquired this item and two others that I have listed at this time on eBay from an US Soldier that has been stationed in Germany for the past few years. He stated that he and his wife were shopping an outside flea market like market and purchased many items from a very old lady and when they were about to leave her table she called them back and handed the gentleman a silk handkerchief with the three medals wrapped tightly inside and told him they were her husbands which had passed and it was not leagal for her to own them in Germany, to take them to America and be quite about it and he did. I purchased them from him and now offer them to you."

              I think the medals could be givin to the same man, if they were real of course.
