    Hi Robert,
Glad I could help! I really don't know the answer regarding the IMME mark. I always thought it was the earliest mark, but I have seen some Pilots badges with J2's that have it also,
but I don't own one though . I guess it's possible they continued to use this stamp as well as the Jmme & Sohn stamp as time went on, but...... your guess is as good as mine.

Thank you, Eric. Yeah, maybe they used both stamps for the duration... I don't know either. Perhaps through future observations I'll be able to see a pattern.

This Juncker's wreath doesn't match any Juncker pilot's badges
that I've seen. Guess it's simply a para wreath.
        Looks factory darkened to me.

You're absolutely right, Tim. I believe they were made just for the para badge. My Juncker has the exact wreath. Beautiful piece, and should be in my collection, along with your Deumer.

Very nice Assmann para. Does the '2' represent the number of the die used? Could you please post a closeup of the maker mark 'A', if it isn't too much trouble? I started a thread a while back on the Assmann maker marks and am very curious which mark your badge has. Thank you.

                        Hello Robert,

the scan of the paratrooper badge is too dark. About the "2" and the "A" I think, the wreath was made bei Juncker??? and the eagle by Assmann.

Here is an "A" at an Bordschützenabzeichen made of alloy.
