    B&NL Pilot Badge

    Check out the gold color here. I know it's been discussed but this is weird. Is it a lacquor that over the years turned to 'gold'? What are your thoughts please? Noticed a few threads on these...

    P.S. I'm not calling this a P/O badge...

        Helllo Brian,

        That looks like a very nice B&NL Pilot badge to me. I would expect to see the golden brassy look. In the earlier thread in reference to the question, some believe it to be the discoloring of the laquer over the years and that is what I agree with.

          I too believe it is lacquer discoloration of the original finish. I have seen other Pilots badges similar to this one and I'm certain they were PILOTS badges - not P/O's.

            Thanks guys, I'm guessing a lacquor just looking at where it is, the eagle color and having a RAD leader's dagger scabbard that has turned almost exactly the same color.
