    Juncker 2nd Pattern Pilot Badge

Well, it was worth the wait. I received my first J2 in the mail today. And a very nice one at that. It is in really nice condition with most of the frosting still present and the burnishing is still real clean. The eagle retains all of it's blue-grey color. The maker mark is heavy on the bottom and light on the top but, still a good mark. I can see where the letter 'B' struck the middle of the mark, probably after it jumped from the original stamping.
Anyway, I'm just showing it off. I was a long time finding this particular badge. The case is in excellent condition, well taken care of over all of the years.

No big deal on the strike, the rest of the badge speaks for itself.

          Best Regards,

Thanks for all the positive input. I really like this piece too. The photo doesn't start to catch the real blue color that remains on the eagle. It's just a superb piece in your hand. The burnishing is really shiny sticking up through all of the frosting. Very happy with it. Never thought it would get here. I thought I would post a picture of the box, I was so excited to get it in the mail today! I will on someone's request. It will probably be a first.
