        Dear C.M.,

Could you please show us the reverse? The wreath is wrong (Assmann design) and the Osang type eagle looks a bit "casty" around the swaz.

          Not exactly true there

          C.M.

No misunderstandings--Actually, I wanted to see the reverse of the badge again and had asked repeatedly to see either PICS of the reverse or coordinate meeting up with Tony M. before deciding on buying it. Unfortunately, it was almost a three hour drive for me and not worth the questionable trip IMO.

When I first was introduced to the seller and this badge, I didn't know enough on the Osang maker, but knew that they were heavily faked and most collectors didn't want to play as they didn't know what the correct die characteristics were for this maker. That and the fact he expected to get $475. for a piece back when you could buy a nice Juncker for the same price!

Now, that I can finally see the reverse again--I'm glad I didn't buy it. It appears to have that dip in the bottom of the wreath like those fake pilot badges and as Frank H. has stated, there are other differences.

Sorry, I can't give a thumbs up for this one. I hope you can ask Tony for your money back.
          Tim

I've lightened your PIC up a bit to see the details better, hope you don't mind?

            Dear C.M.,

Definitely not a good Osang para badge!

              Nope, not even near IMO.
Osang Paras are a really difficult theme and if they donĀ“t look like the others shown in this thread I would avoid them.

Agree. Now where can I get a Juncker for $475? Local WA legend speaks of one that went begging, had I but known...

I'm with Skip and Frank on this one - that's not even in the ballpark!
