    Super Early CE Juncker Pilot's Badge with the cut/recessed wreath

    Does anyone in their collection (Francois) have a early "CEJ" marked Pilot's Badge with the recessed wreath where the wings of the eagle are?

    in my early Juncker pilot type wreath has not recessed place for wing.

      There was an earlier thread about early Air Gunner "CEJ"-marked badges with this feature. One may infer that early Pilot's badges also had this characteristic.

            My 1st pattern Pilot lacks this cut out feature also, but my early gunner badge does have it.

              I would like to include this feature in the Pilot's Badge article that I am writing, but I need images of someone's badge that shows this cutout (pilot's badge).

                if you want I can send to you pics about my early airgunner Juncker that has the recessed area but as I remember, I haven't seen PILOT BADGES with this kind of wreath - but maybe I don't remember - . I would ask to Detlev but is in holidays now.

                Only in very early types marked CEJ or Juncker airgunner there are this area.

                Skip have get a new Pilot CEJ, I will ask to him.

                  Hi guys,

                  sorry but my Pilots badge also lacks this feature.
                  I know someone else with one of these and his also has no cutouts for the wings.
                  My understanding was that this is only on the Airgunners badge.
