Hi Midas,

What we see is a Juncker design with a spurious Assmann mark. Finishing and setup details do not really correspond with any of those makers. The Assmann marks is also "off." I would not consider this badge an original.

I agree with Frank (ugh - hate to do that ) that the badge is not original. In addition to what he stated, I do not like the silver showing through on the worn high-lights of the eagle. I would prefer that the eagle be solid brass, or maybe gilt plated tombak. That silver makes me uncomfortable.
