    Juncker Flak

Here's a nice Juncker Flak that arrived today. Any opinions?

For those of you who own these are they finished 'blued' or is this tarnish over time?

    Thanks for looking

And the back. Apologies for the poor lighting. The badge isn't yukky brown it's actually a very toned blue/black in the flesh. honest!

      Nice

      Hi Richard,
A very nice Juncker Flak! I like it a lot! I don't have it anymore, but I had an identical one with the same blue/black finish you speak of. IMO that's not time beating on the finish - it's original to the badge.

        Hello Rich,

        Nice looking badge!!
My Juncker Luft. Flak is made from tombak and has a nice bright finish, however my Heer Flak which is unmarked but I belive to be Juncker is made from buntmetal and has the blue/black finish like yours with wear to the highlights.

        Best regards,
        Adrian.

Nice, Rich, here is mine to compare finish. The badge is absolutely mint, still has the unworn finish and some protective lacquer over it. As you can see the highlights were finished with a lighter silvery wash over a grey/dark grea finish. Reverse is plain grey.

Very nice find, Richard. Beautiful piece. I especially like the pin assembly on this badge. I missed another fantastic piece. Robert

                  Thanks to all.

As you probably know, this badge sat on the e-stand for days without a scrap of interest... I just couldn't let it sit there any longer... a great cased badge from the 'sexy' maker and at price that was too good to pass on! Thanks Stogieman!!

                  Regards
