    Need Help IDing Glider Badge

    Boys and Girls (TIM, FRANCOIS)

Here is an unmarked Glider Badge I own. Any ideas who made it? With all the discussion the last few days on Gliters, I figured we could peg this one down while all the 'rules & regs' are fresh in our heads.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hello,

    Early, unmarked Junker.

    Best regards,

      Hi JD,

Thanks for the reply. I'd sure be happy if the badge turned out to be an early unmarked Juncker. I always thought the wreath was to narrow to qualify the badge as a Juncker, unless the piece turns out to be a 'multi-manufacturer' conglomeration.

      Other opinions???

      Thanks,
      Mark

I don't like the wreath. We'll have more comparisons to post sometime this week with a quality marked Juncker and another that may/may not be a Juncker but has the correct eagle/wreath.

          Hi Fart,

Our friend Joe D has been drinking again! I don't think there is any way that it's an early unmarked Juncker.

If I HAD to guess at the maker......hmmmm, almost looks like it should say "FLORIDA" on the back!

No drinking Tim C. (Yoda) , very bad call. Important lesson learned, never leave a comment when working.

O.K. Tim (tball) rub my nose in poop, no OM Pics for you.

              Best Regards,
              JD

                  JD,

Actually I was referring to the suggested maker's mark on MMiller's badge, but speaking of OM's, did you get it yet?

No, not Florida, but obviously from the same skilled hands.

Let's see, now this is the point where I should get real defensive at Warp 5, and tell everyone to submit proof that it is wrong. I'll take worldly pleasure in just saying Tim Pervert has an IQ below 75 and has 6 toes on his left foot.

Actually, I agree, that with the characteristics seen on a Tombak badge (hinge type, catch type, obverse wreath frosting and polished highlights, etc....) the wear on the reverse edges of the wreath OUGHT to show Tombak, not flat black Krylon.

Now in addition to working at ground zero [500 meters from the Capitol] in Wash DC, I have a bad badge too.

                        Thanks all,
                        Mark

PS- Tim, You are being removed immediately from my Will. The stuff is going to Francis again. And you weren't that good.

I made some comments but changed my mind and deleted them. I can't be bothered.
