Hello Frank;
I am talking about the pin,or needle, on the Osang badges.
In the book GERMAN PARATROOPERS by Kurtz(p.116)the author seems to indicate that (all)Osang jump badges had a rectangular pin in cross-section.I have an Osang badge that I'm 99% certain is wartime manufacture except that it has a round pin.Was the Osang Luftwaffe Parachutist badge,like some of the Wernstein Panzer badges,sometimes made with differing pins?Several images of Osang badges on the Forum seem to have round pins.
Dankeschoen. Joachim
