          Hi Gene,

If I'm not mistaken, the eagles head on the Flak Badge is incorrect for an Assman.

Not sure about the Air Gunner, but I'm not getting a warm fuzzy (IMO). Hope I'm wrong!

            Hi Gene,

I'm the not-so-proud owner of the following badge, which I consider to be a repro. Fyi, the size if the wreath (NOT including the eagle) is 54.8 x 43.24 mm - smaller than any other flak badge I own.

            Regards
            Mike

                        Dear Gene,

The airgunner is consistent with other original late war air gunners by JMME and that includes the hinge, which might seem strange to some. Normally there is a small or a larger round plate under the catch, I guess it is there on yours too?

Your Assmann Flak we discussed on the forum years ago, I thought it was a fake then and still think it is.
                        Cheers, Frank
