Help on price of a pilots badge

    Hi Forum friends,
I've been looking for a original cheap pliots badge to display with my daggers.I have the chance of a BSW , most of the finish has gone to time and there has been a repair to the hinge assembly. Is $155 to much for it, a good buy or just to expensive. All pointers would be appreciated.Authenticity is not a issue so please accept that it is original.I am unable to post any pics at this stage.but need to know if its worth the cash.
    many thnaks Neil.

    Hi Niel,

price sounds alright to me, but what does the repair look like and in what condition is it in.
Is it a zinc or "Buntmetal" piece?
If it´s zinc the price is OK, if it´s "Buntmetal" the price is great and you should snap it up.

I think is in zinc and if it has this price is because is in very worn conditions, maybe a ground piece with zincpest. Sure the price is okay for an original pilot , with 155 $ today you buy a normal PAB, but tomorrow you will have problems to sell it.

      just only my opinion

An original zinker for $155? Good price!, as long as you yourself are comfortable with it. I wouldn't worry too much about the repair - it's only for display purposes, so if the front is in good shape I say go for it!
