    Hi JC,

    Nope the design is close to GWL but this is the PO refered to as "the unknown maker". Based upon what we were able to find out so far chances are that FLL could have been the maker of these badges.

    Well the most important thing here is that you found yourself a very nice original

                    I am not a big fan of Luftwaffe badges, but what are the facts about this one being original in your opinion? It is said on the thread mentioned that the hinge is maybe not original, but then that they may be fine and attributed indeed to our ""unknown maker"". Thoughts and advice, as our would be collector now says he is confused between the opinions expressed on it, would no doubt be welcome.
                    I notice he hasn't mentioned that on here though.?

                        There is not the slightest bit of doubt that these are original, and that includes the hinge.
