Gents,
To date, some have agreed that the claw B&NL is a fake. However below is a badge that I think we all need to consider. This badge does NOT have the typical ugly claw face associated with the B&NL fake, rather it has a more S&L eagle with the claw. Now there are many things going on with this badge that bother me besdies the claw. The leg holding the swas is odd, to say the least. The cuts along the wreath bottom are messy, and the whole cannon is having problems between the breech and barrel. But, this is a much more convincing zinc badge than the other. The reverse barrel-hinge is very S&L-like, though the catch reminds me of GB and maybe Wernstein.

So I ask you all to discuss this badge:

Hi Flak have to say i dont care much for this one, along with th points you listed, what is going on with the wreath 4-8 0 clock position. Also (unless its the pics there seems to be a cating line at 10-11 0 clock with prominate edges?)As for the reverse catch looks like a mordern type metal to me? Too much wrong for me, and looks like maybe a seepage occured in the mould, just my opinion. All the best
