I find it gratifying to note that despite the opposing duties my father (as a B-17 pilot), and your grandfather (in the Flakartillerie) undertook during WW2, that we may today converse as friends and behave as comrades using this fantastic forum.

I admire and respect the sacrifice that was made on both sides.
