    LW Ground Comabt Badge, Osang

    Hello all,

I just wanted to show this nice Ground Combat Badge to you.
The badge is marked Osang Dresden and still has most of its original finish. The badge should be "Buntmetall" not zinc.
It my become availible on the estand soon and I just wanted to ask for a market price of that badge.

    Many thanks Jens

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Tom's description is very accurate. Only the eagle is made from Tombak. The badge is zinc.
            Cheers, Frank

The wings on the Osang Luft ground combat badges are made of some type of white metal.

Nickle silver? Couldnt say, but wear characteristics dont point to plated tombac or brass IMO.

Yes! Thanks for sharing that picture Frank. I remember seeing a worn eagle with a tombac base metal showing through, but couldnt remember if it was Osang. I am glad you cleared that up.

It would be safe to say that the eagles were made of both types of metal.
