    Juncker FJ?

    Hi everyone,

as the MM is scratched out, is this a late Junckers made badge? In recent years I had a Junckers parabadge but the wreath was larger.

All in all this is a nice little one but please give your expertises.

    Thanks in advance,

    DJ

DJ, this does look like a nice tombak Juncker para badge. Too bad somebody scratched the mark out

Bigger pictures would help more, but from these I see nothing wrong.

            Juncker FJ

            Hello DJ,
The badge looks fine to me too. I wonder why they rubbed out the maker mark? I would think this would be very hard to do, I guess not.
            Regards,
            Jody

This weekend I will be picking up a early Juncker FJ I was lucky enough to find. I shall post a comparison of these next to each other to show the difference in size when I have it. Looking forward to saturday ....

                Hi Jody,

my theory (correct me if I'm wrong): as it looks like a late made badge, somewhere around 1944 (feinzink wreath) it was not uncommon for manufacturers to remove or totally leave out any maker mark as some companies got nervous due to the fact that the Russians where advancing from the east and other allies from the west...

Perhaps a company bought up some extra badges to make up for a shortage on an order and did not want to have the "competition's" name on it.

It's strange about the MM. Still a Super para!!

                      New little gem

I was supposed to get this tomorrow but I recieved it today and I am very pleased with it. Notice the differences in sizes and manufacturing, still both Juncker?
