I like the detail of this eagle, but I'm not thrilled with the pin/hinge assembly on the back. Real, well-made fake? Opinions please??

Hi Frank,
Nice to see you back! Is that Pilot Badge in your database or are you in posession of it? How long have these "wedgie" pilots badges been around? I have seen the Juncker hallmark on these types also. I have to admit that the adler does have great details to it! - But alas, on that fantasy "dipped" wreath!

Dear Eric,
That badge is not in my possession (phew! wiping sweat away), I found the picture on a smaller dealer´s website.
I remember Tim C. referring to this type of eagle´s head as the FUGLY head in other threads. It comes in many disguises as I could see in Tim´s picture collection of that F-head eagle. I don´t know exactly how long they have been around, I am aware of them for say 1 to 2 years now.
Cheers, FrankCheers, Frank

Thanks Frank! I'm REALLY glad it's not one of yours!( Here's a towel! ) I've seen these popping up only within the last year and a half myself.

I stay away from the "atomic wedgie" eagles. Apparently the gap between the legs is difficult to manufacture and/or finish with finesse. I saw a lot of these hit the U.S. market a few years back. Anyway, they are just plain ugly.
