What you are posting is a crude reproduction. What you are comparing it to is an original zinc based pilot badge.

Rich can tell its a repro because of the totally crude casting method used to make this badge. Note: No detail at all to eagle or wreath.

Even late war, zinc badges, had high quality definition.

That and the badge just looks crap.
