      Hi,
      The same story...,a cast badge..bad detail on the claws and eagles head...this type of hinge is used on the Assmann zink examples though.
      Type of wreath is wrong...these badges can be 20 years old or older,it's a rather convincing badge for that time.
      I've seen these types marked CEJ for early Junckers as well.
      The ones I've seen had the hinge not seperately soldered on but the hinge was cast with the wreath as one piece and so was the catch...hard to see but check it out.

        Cut out swaz..but a mount pad on the catch? Mixing up zinc and tombac traits is never a good sign.

          Not good I'm afraid - I've also seen these type of repros with "CE Juncker Berlin SW 68" and "GH Osang Dresden" maker marks - all with the same hinge and catch on the plate.
