I'd say that this is a high quality casting of an Assmann P/O. The finish doesn't look correct, no shear marks are visable, the rivets doen't look correct, the hinge 'gauge' looks incorrect, etc.

i Can only echo Mark's comments. It is really high end Assmann copy. The attention to the details is scary. Fortunately these bad boys made some mistakes, and Mark pointed them out with 100% accuracy.

I can olny agree with all the comment made. Also the wreath does******180;nt appear to be made of tombac, more like a shiny silver alloy.
Not a bad attempt but the detail really lets it down.

Thanks. That is about the correct price for a 'real' one. I was just wondering if the price was one of those 'too good to be true' prices, like 1200 Euro.

That could be a dangerous fake, if you don't know what to look for!

Another good entry for the Fakes Gallery. These fake PO badges are going to get better
and better and they are very expensive. I think we really need to watch these very closely.
