Pilot badge and Pilot/observer badge up for review

Hello

My eyes had fallen on these badges. The one with the blue background should be a Pilot badge, the other should be a P/O badge. Are they genuine? The P/O badge looks to me like it has been repaired at the hinge (as stated on the webshop) but i'm not sure about that.

Hi Leandra,

Both are fine originals. You are correct the blue background is a appears to be regular Pilot Badge, however the catch and hinge appear to have gold finish on them which would make it a Pilot/Observer. Like you, I am not sure the hinge is repaired like the seller states, FLL was known to have very sloppy soldering. Its possible it is repaired and maybe glued back on if it fell off. I would ask the seller to provide a few closeups of the hinge to see if we can see the repair area better.
