Both are excellent and scarce original badges, the first is Assmann and the second is very rare encountered Friedrich Linden!

What is the rivet on the outside wing. Also, what is the approx. value on these? Thanks so much for the help.

The rivet came loose and was repaired right through the wing (likely a period repair). Not uncommon on early aluminum badges.

As said both fine originals with Assmann rivers being replaced and the catch also looks replaced.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I agree with Tom that beside the rivet also the catch might be replaced.
That FLL roag is a very beautiful badge. Picture is not too good but it think it has the cupal wreath
in combination with the aluminium eagle. A desirable and uncommon badge with untouched patina!
Go for the FLL if you can.
