No doubts about it, fake it is. The wreath is a postwar S&L wreath. The eagle itself may be an original GWL bird, but then either stuck on this fake wreath or some frankenstien badge made from leftover parts.

Nobody is saying that this is not a Pilot but an Observer. Originals parts?, which? Hardware IMO its post war Souval
