Is everything in order with this J3 Pilot Badge?

Also is there anything "wrong" or "inferior" with a J3 compared to a J2 Pilot badge?

Nice badge. It is a matter of personal preference but the detail on the J2 talons are better done in my opinion. Often the final finishing on the J2 is also better with J3 badges a bit rougher.

All down to personal taste though.

The detail on the J2 is much sharper and complicated than on the J3. There are also many differences between early and later J2's.
Calling the J3 inferior is a bit too harsh. In the end it's all personal taste, if you like it just go for it.
Best advice that i can give is to collect the complete serie

I see, thanks for the advice. Food for thought. I'll start comparing a few higher resolution pictures of J2 and J3.

Here is my J2, they are ideally to start with. In the end, it all goes with whatever you like and decide.
