I would greatly appreciate any and all opinions on this Luftwaffe Pilot Badge by Juncker with case. I believe it is a very nice example of a Juncker J3 Nickel Silver / Tombak but I could always be missing something. The case seems to be period but I have no experience with these. I'm not sure the badge and case belong together. From the photos it appears that the badge doesn't quite fit in the case. You can see rubbing on the inside lid from the wing contact.

A genuine Juncker pilot badge, case is fine too. Might be a plausible, matching set timewise. Wreath and bird are made out of nickle silver. A beautiful pilot with untouched patina.
