    A mean Deumer pilot.

    Hi guys,

managed to add this new Deumer pilot to my collection.
Although i already own this type i could not resist this wonderful example.
The true Deumer is one of the most detailed badges produced in the third reich era
with great expression. The construction is high quality with tight hardware.
It is amazing how Deumer succeeded in producing D2 pilots that are so identical to eachother.
The die was that good that beside some filing no further enhancement was needed.
Badge comes in a typical but rather uncommon Deumer case. It is different from the classic
'flugzeugführer' case but you can see these are very alike in terms of construction.

    Have a great weekend!

That's right John. They blend nicely in the timeframe they were produced.
1939-1940, when the German army was at full force and ready for war.
While the first pattern badges have a more friendly and classic look, these thick second patterns
are adjusted to a combat situation with a mean expression. Ready for the kill! You just have to love the brilliance of the
          people who designed these.
