    Need Opinion On Paratrooper Badge

Need Opinion On Paratrooper Badge- Looks to be a zinc variant, but is it original or post war? Sorry for the poor photos.

    Hello,

Its a good BNL in zinc in poor condition. Both rivets have been replaced and then put back together.

Yep, I can only agree with Seb's assessment, an original B&NL Para badge that has seen better days with both rivets replaced. Nice replacement job though, very neat.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

As Seb and Thomas have said it is a B & N L (Berg & Nolte of Ludenscheid) badge. It is the type "C" zinc variant. It is in poor condition with repairs as already noted. You can just make out the makers mark on the reverse "B & N" above an "L".

Hello Sebastien T, Thomas Durante & judorichard,
Thank you for the comments and information! I can barely see the
"B & N" above an "L" on the back in the photo.
          Regards,
          Drew
