    Hi Joseph;

    IMHO, the second one you posted appears to me to be a reproduction of an Assman.
    Best regards,

    Tony

      I think I had the same one with a different makers mark.

      Fishing sinkers are cheaper at Walmart.

        Hi,

        Those "dip wreath" repros seem to be popping up everywhere recently!! I too do not like the second badge posted.

            Hi Guys,

            Thank you, for the responses, I thought because the 2nd example was aluminum it would not have the same detail as the tomback variation.

            I know that all of you have a minty mint Observers badge, so help a brother out and sell me one, please

            François, I know you have more than one, one for Kermit.

            Well thank you kindly for the feedback, I can't say for sure that I would have purchased this piece. I'm not sure I totally understand the dipped wreath, can somebody help me out on that. I think that I'm good, but maybe some more unfo would help.

            Thank You,
            JD/Kermit

              Hi Joseph

              I agree with the others on that second one. It looks very much like that SOG in a triangle type fake thats been around for quite a few years. Aluminum eagle on a zinc type wreath. Some I have seen like it were even unmarked. Very nice original looking and have probably fooled many.
              Make a mental note of that one. Their are sure to be many more of them croping up.
