    BSW Pilot Badge, any good??

My BSW Pilot Badge arrived today. The case is a re-pop, which I expected it was. The badge looks awesome, what do you guys think??

      Very nice looking badge, Rick.
Looks very similar to the early nickel-silver piece I have in my holdings. The exception being, yours is missing the bridge, (small section of metal) that connects the eagles left claw to the swastika. Most all of these BSW peices I've seen have this feature. That means it could have been filed-out in the hand finishing process. I can't post pics. of mine, however I know of other members who have one and can show you what I'm refering to. Their seems to be a fair amount of these nice badges around and are very desireable.

        Allright!

Thanks! I had confidence in this badge, I knew ahead the case was probably bad, which is no biggie, I'm sure I'll find a case for it eventually. Thanks! Rick

          Nice one Rick!

Just an interesting note about these BSW pilot badges... they all seem to be made with a very durable and attractive frosted finish on the wreath and polished highlights. Virtually all the BSW pilot badges I've seen have this feature.

Just a shame it's the ugliest beak of all the pilot badges IMO!

            it's funny......

........ how the top line of the beak runs back down and around, This will do until I find a nice Juncker piece!

Nice original early heavy type badge!

It's identical as mine. ( if you want my scan I can put here)

............ these guys. They're beauties! Did you see the Juncker combo Pilot/Obsevers Detlev had this AM?? How about the Juncker Observer badge?? I might have to stick to Juncker, the quality seems way up there!
