I like it! Looks like an original, later war badge in zinc. Too bad about the pin and catch though.

I've cleaned up the picture and have done a side by side with my Buntmetal example so that you can compare the two..

Here's the reverse of the "unknown" Pilot's badge, with typical setup for zinc types.. It'll give you an idea of how the reverse hardware would have looked on your Para.
