Luftwaffe Badge?

Hello,
I just picked this Luftwaffe badge up from a veteran along with a bunch of other stuff. I'm trying to get it all identified since I really only collect belt buckles and do not know much about anything else. Was this badge something everyone in the Luftwaffe would wear or only certain ones? Also, I really hate to ask this question, but can anyone give me a ballpark value? Any other information would be great. Thanks.

Hi Steve,

Like it says on the box, its a Pilots badge. Very late issue from known unknown maker in zinc and in the cardboard box. Quiet desirable and seems to be in good condition.

Value is hard to say. I would put it in the 600/700Euro range with box.
