    pilot OM tombak eagle?

    Hi Friends,
one Question to the Pilot Badge OM from Weitze, is this Badge with a Tombak eagle?
In the description is written Tombak, from ny Point of view it Looks like a nickel-silver eagle version. Thanks for your support and all the best

    Hallo Winfried.

Hatte es letztes jahr auf der Messe Großmehring in der hand, meiner meinung nach handelt es sich um ein tombak stück. Vorallem ein schönes getragen stück mit guter patina.

    Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Dave.

Nickel Silver for me as well. No matter how thick the silver plating is on PBs, the slightest bit of wear typically shows the base metal so if you aren't seeing any signs of yellow tombak peeping through, it is a very good bet its a NS badge. Also look at the rivets, they are typically the same base metal as the eagle. The rivets here look Nickel Silver, so another good indication the eagle is also Nickel Silver.

                  Nice bird.

And I put a nice one on estsnd for less, and it goes away from lack of interest. Perhaps, my price was too low.
