    Aluminum Pilot Badge Maker

    Hi all,

Quarantine has me pretty bored. started digging around the sold archives on Emedals. Any idea on the maker of this badge?

The catch is unfamilar to me but the description doesn't say anything about a replaced catch

If you go through their inventory you will see endless questionable items when it comes to luftwaffe badges.
That badge is a nice j2 in alu with indeed a repair.

Yes, they once had a Tombac Long Range fighter clasp with a 300 mission hanger in bronze.

Obviously the chap who replated the badge did not realise that it should have been gold.

These J2 badges are common enough, I would give a pass unless its cheap

Nice original Juncker in aluminum but catch definitely replaced.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks all! It looked like a Juncker, odd that the desc didn’t mention the repair

              Very nice,
but unfortunately this is a common problem with alu wreaths and catches. The different materials don´s seems to work well together.
