Hi Gentlemen, This is the Schnellboot badge I picked up with my HSF. It is the 2nd pattern zinc type (all finish absorbed) the only anomaly I can see is that the flag isn't fretted out, Friday afternoon job ? glad to hear your opinions, Thanks Paul

IMO it is a good zinc Schwerin.

I agree with Martin, an original. I like to see notches on the top hook though, although they may be for later badges.

The swas is cutout by hand. Some badges have have only the swas done, like yours, some have only the flag cut-out, some have neither, some have both. No issues or anomalies with what you have.

From the first photos the catch didn't look right and might have been replaced but from the last photos I think the catche is original to the badge. Overall looks like a good badge

The fact that the swaz is cut out and the flag is not it's unusual but explainable and not a problem
