            But keep in mind some companies did not have only one stamp. Badge and mark look believable and it indeed seems to be a four.

                Thank you Frank as well as to everyone else for your comments. I will be putting this badge in my personal collection and therefore consider it to be 100% original. If anyone has any additional information on this badge or has seen one like it in the past, please share your thoughts. Many thanks to all.

                  Yes, I would definitely keep that badge until we found out more about it. One day this puzzle piece will fall into place as well. I will also keep the images as a puzzle piece in my picture files.

                    Herc1 just posted a mini-SA Badge here that has exactly the same "4" stamp on the back in a square. Amazing similarity huh?
