I cannot tell as the badge isn’t mine. It was a candidate I considered buying.

Thanks Dirk. The reason for my inquiry is the non-typical shape of the wreath i.e. instead of a perfectly oval shaped wreath, it has more like a pear shaped appearance (similar to some Zerstörers I've seen). If indeed vaulted, I assume that would explain this anomaly.

From these photos, this example is indeed heavily hand-vaulted. Personally, I like this look on a used badge.
